In a press release issued here on Saturday, she said that gutka, tobacco containing pans and local-made wine were being sold under the patronage of influential persons and local police.

She said more than 6500 pan biri cabins and individuals were doing this business resulting in mouth cancer, peptic ulcer, tooth decay and various stomach diseases among the consumers in the district.
