ISLAMABAD, Sept 7: Quran Khwani was held at the presidency here on Sunday to offer special prayers for the progress and prosperity of the country.
The participants included members of parliament, mostly women, also offered prayers for the departed souls of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
They also prayed for the success of President-elect Asif Ali Zardari.—APP
