Hassan guides team to victory

LAHORE, Aug 26: Three-goal Ali Hassan guided Sindh Whites to 7-0 win against Balochistan Whites as the schedule of the group matches of the national Junior hockey championship concluded at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

Ali fired home in the 33rd, 6th and the 66th minutes. Mohammad Sarfraz (11th, 34th) and Salman Khan (52nd minute) were the other scorers.

All the four quarter-finals will be played on Wednesday.

In the first quarter-final, PIA will play Police, followed by a clash between Pakistan Steel Mills and NWFP Whites in the morning session. In the afternoon session, Army will take on Navy while National Bank of Pakistan will fight against Railways.
