HYDERABAD, Aug 20: The University of Sindh on Wednesday announced schedule for admission to bachelor and masters degree programmes in all disciplines of the university and Sindh University Laar College of Badin for the session of 2009.

A notification issued by the university said that candidates could get admission forms with prospectus from designated branches of the Habib Bank Limited from Sept 1 or download them from the official website of the university, www.usindh.edu.pk.

It said that the last date for submission of forms to Sindh University was Oct 9 and the deadline for submission of forms at Laar College Badin was Oct 20.

Candidates who had passed HSC Part-II in pre-engineering, pre-medical, general science, commerce and humanities (arts) or an examination equivalent to intermediate with at least 45 per cent marks from BISE Hyderabad or other recognised institutions were eligible to apply for admission for the bachelor programme, it said.

The notification said that the candidates having bachelors degree in relevant disciplines from Sindh University or any other recognised institution or university or passed an examination equivalent to graduation up to 2007 with at least 2nd division were eligible to apply for admission to masters programme.

The university also announced that pre-entry test for admission to masters programme would be held on Oct 19 and entry test for admission to bachelors programme would be conducted on Nov 2.

The university would hold aptitude test and interview for BFA in Arts and Design on Nov 3 and pre-entry test for admission to Sindh University Laar College Badin would be held on Nov 23.
