SANGHAR: 12 policemen booked

SANGHAR, Aug 20: The District and Sessions Judge of Sanghar, Amjad Ali Bohio, on Wednesday ordered registration of a criminal case against 14 police personnel, including two SHOs, for keeping two persons in illegal detention at Mangli police station.

Complainant Sagheer Ahmed Qureshi and another person were allegedly picked up about a month ago and kept in illegal confinement. They were recovered by a judicial magistrate on orders of District and Sessions Judge.

The case had been registered against Sanghar SHO Fayaz Pathan, Mangli SHO Zameer Baig, ASI Lal Bux, Head Constable Ali Akbar Gopang and nine others.

However, no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
