KOHAT, Aug 15: Four rockets fired by militants landed in an open space between the offices of the intelligence agency, ISI, and the Gunners Lane in the cantonment area early Friday morning.

Police said the rockets had been fired from the mountains of the Sheikhan area near Darra Adamkhel. However, there was no casualty or damage to the property. The Saddar police registered a case against unknown militants under the Explosives Act.

Security has been tightened around the PAF airbase and at entry points of the cantonment area, causing inconvenience to people in reaching their homes and workplaces. Local people have been demanding shifting of the airbase and the cantonment from the centre of the city.
