SUKKUR, Aug 13: Three of a family, including two women, were killed in a road accident, near Tangwani, on Wednesday.
Daim Dahani, a resident of Manjhi Dahani village was going on a motorcycle with his mother Mir Zadi and sister Lal Khatoon to a village from Tangwani. When they reached near the town, a Jacobabad-bound passenger wagon coming from Kandhkot hit their motorcycle. The man and his mother and sister died on the spot.
The wagon driver fled from the scene along with the vehicle and no case was registered.
SHOT DEAD: A teenage boy was gunned down by armed men in Ansari Muhalla, in New Pind locality police limits, on Wednesday.
Gul Mohammad Maitlo, son of Karim Bux Maitlo of Khairpur, had come to visit his relatives in New Pind, when some armed people shot him dead and fled. The reason of the murder could not be ascertained yet.
