LAHORE, Aug 6: Two-day trials to select a Pakistan junior and youth contingent for the Sept 23-25 South Asian athletics championship at Pune, India, commenced here at the Punjab Stadium on Wednesday.
Some 150 athletes from all provinces, departments, AJK, FATA and Islamabad, appeared for the trials despite the humid weather conditions in Lahore.
The final contingent for the said event is likely to be announced on Thursday.
