PAF gets four F16s

LAHORE, July 28: A simple but impressive ceremony for handing over of four F-16s aircraft to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was held at PAF Base Mushaf in Sargodha on Monday, says a press release issued here.

These aircraft were flown into Pakistan and were later handed over to the PAF by United States CENTCOM Commander Lt Gen Martin E Dempsey. Speaking on the occasion, Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed reiterated the PAF’s pledge to remain vigilant for defence of the nation by ensuring highest level of combat readiness. A contingent of high-ranking officials from air forces of Pakistan and the United States were also present on the occasion.
