DADU, July 26: Khanoth and Chhachhar police on Saturday registered two separate FIRs against taluka nazim Manjhand, UC nazim Sann, former taluka nazim Kotri and 400 others activists of Sindh United Party (SUP) for creating violence in Jamshoro district

The SHO Chhachhar police station, Muneer Ahmed Baloch, on behalf of state registered an FIR against taluka nazim Manjhand, Syed Ali Raza Shah, UC nazim Sann, Syed Mohsin Shah, former taluka nazim Kotri, Khuda Bux Joyo and 300 activists of the Sindh United Party for creating violence during their strike on Thursday.

Meanwhile, SHO Khanoth police, Qadir Bux Thebo, also registered an FIR on behalf of state against 100 SUP activists for creating law and order situation. Police had begun raids on their homes for arrests.

The SUP Chairman, Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah held an emergency meeting of the party at Jamshoro on Saturday. The meeting decided that party activists will block Hyderabad- Karachi Super Highway and will stage demonstration outside the DIG Hyderabad office against political victimisation. record seized: Anti-corruption police raided the office of nazim UC Pyaro Goth in taluka Dadu on Saturday and seized its record. According to details, a team of Anti-Corruption Establishment Dadu, led by inspector Zakir Hussain Samoon raided UC nazim office of Dadu Ittehad Panel, Pir Gambal Shah of Pyaro Goth Union Council.

The team seized all record of development schemes and funds which were released by the district government during last three years. Inspector Zakir Hussain told that he raided the UC nazim office on the orders of high officials.

He said that he seized the record and had started investigation.
