KARACHI, July 23: The Sindh chief secretary on Wednesday issued the notification for the promotion of 11 DSPs to the rank of SP.
The promoted police officers are Arshad Kamal Kiyani, Mohammad Riaz Soomro, Zulfiqar Ali Zardari, Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, Gul Hameed Samoo, Zaheer Ahmed Tonio, Altaf Husain Leghari, Nisar Ahmed Channa, Nazir Ahmed Mirbahar, Farooq Ahmed Jamali and Tariq Mughal. The DSPs have been promoted on the recommendation of the departmental selection board of the Sindh Police and with the approval of the competent authority, according to the notification.
