Batsmen struggle in U-15 cricket

KARACHI, July 14: Batsmen continued to struggle in the KCCA Under-15 Inter-zonal cricket tournament as Zone-I, II and V won their matches on Sunday.

At Student Ground, off-spinner Arsalan Hussain captured four for 39 and left arm spinner Farhan Anwar grabbed three for 35 to bowl Zone-I to a four-wicket victory over Zone-III. Zahid Khan top scored for the winners with 43.

Zone-V beat Zone-IV by 101 runs at Pak Star Ground.

At Asghar Ali Shah Stadium, spinners Arsalan Hussain and Fahazullah shared eight wickets between them to spin Zone-II to a 105-run victory over Lasbella.
