SUKKUR, July 13: A minor girl lost her life as she fell into Gaji Minor Canal near Dad Leghari in Mirpur Mathelo on Sunday.

Four-year old girl Pathani of Jado Mahar village was playing on the when she slipped and fell into the canal. Her body was found four hours later.

Meanwhile, six people including a woman were injured, when a Rawalpindi-bound bus overturned on the National Highway near Sangi, a few kilometres from here early on Sunday.

The bud went out of the driver’s control due to over-speeding when it neared Sangi. The injured Iqbal Bano, Mohammad Younis, Zubair Ahmed, Mir Khan, Allah Ditta and Karim Bux were moved to the nearest hospitals. The bus driver fled after the accident.
