NAWABSHAH, July 8: Two people were killed in traffic accident on the National Highway near Sakrand, on Tuesday.
Lal Khan, cleaner and Fakir Mohammad Mallah were killed when a Mazda truck collided with a trailer.
Sakrand police impounded the vehicle and began investigation.
MPA GRIEVED: Mother of PPP District President, MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio died due to cardiac arrest. She was 63 years old.
Party workers and office-bearers reached Punhal Khan Chandio village to attend funeral and offer condolences to the MPA.
Chief minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other senior party leaders also offered condolences by telephone.
