HYDERABAD, July 7: Employees of Qasimabad, Latifabad and city talukas living in 12 servant quarters of Rani Bagh have appealed to authorities to provide them alternate accommodation as they had been asked by the district government to vacate these.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Sunday, Pervez, Ramesh, Abdul Karim, Faqira, Lakshman, Shankar and others said that they were living in these quarters for last 25 years as employees of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and had also constructed a temple there.

They said the district administration was beautifying and renovating Rani Bagh to provide recreational facilities to people and had asked us to vacate quarters. They said last year, district nazim directed the HDA to allot us plots in Kohisar scheme but to no avail.—Bureau
