KARACHI: New PPO of Sindh

KARACHI, June 30: Capital City Police Officer Sultan Salahuddin Babar Khattak has been transferred and posted as Provincial Police Officer (PPO) Sindh and DIG Headquarters Waseem Ahmed has been posted as CCPO Karachi. A notification to this effect was issued on Monday.

Earlier, PPO Sindh Dr Shoaib Suddle was transferred and posted as Director-General Intelligence Bureau. He remained PPO Sindh from April 12 to June 28, 2008.

Prior to his posting as CCPO in April 2008, Mr Khattak was posted as DIG Special Branch.

Similarly, DIG Waseem Ahmed earlier held the post of DIG Headquarters.

Sources close to the Central Police Office said that there may be a trickle down effect soon and officers of the DIG and SP ranks may be reshuffled.
