KARACHI, June 28: A six-day tennis gala is set to start here from next month at the City District Government Karachi (CDGK) Sports Complex. The event would be organised by Subh-e-Nau, an affiliated member of Pakistan Tennis Federation.

The 4th Subh-e-Nau National Hard Court Tennis Championship is going to start from July 5-10 and will feature six categories including men’s singles, men’s doubles, ladies singles, girls’ U-17, boys U-17 and boys’ juniors U-13.

The tournament will be carrying a handsome prize money and is expected to draw in the top players of the country.

It is to be mentioned here that this will be the first major activity at the CDGK sports complex after a long time. Subh-e-Nau initiated a campaign for the repair and maintenance of the complex which bore fruit with uplift of several facilities at the complex.—Agencies
