KARACHI, June 28: Additional district and sessions judge (Central) Tasneem Sultana on Saturday awarded life term to a woman, Amna, and her two accomplices, Naseer Ahmed and Wahid, for killing her husband, Hamza.

The convicts were also ordered to pay a fine of Rs100,000 each. In case of default, they would have to undergo an additional six-month imprisonment.

According to the charge-sheet, the convicts had killed Hamza on June 30, 2005 at the couple’s home in the limits of the Sir Syed police station after exchanging hot words with him over their relationship.—Staff Reporter
