NAWABSHAH, June 25: Poli-ce on Wednesday booked 10 people, including two policemen, on charges of being involved in the murder of a Bhangwar man who was apparently killed in revenge after some people of his community beat to death a Brohi following a minor accident on Monday.

Wali Mohammed Bhangwar, 38, was shot dead and another man injured in an attack on a Utility Store in Mohammadi Town on Tuesday.

Eyewitnesses said that the personnel of investigation police of A-Section police station were present near the store when Wali Mohammad was shot dead.

Wali Mohammad was brother of Gul Mohammad who was nominated in a case of murder of Noor Elahi Brohi, beaten to death on Monday by angry villagers when his car hit a rickshaw on the Airport Road near Juma Bhangwar village.

Mohammed Khan Bhangwar, brother of late Wali Mohammed, accused in an FIR lodged at Taluka police station that ASI Mumtaz Brohi of A-Section police station, Head Constable Mohammed Yousuf Brohi of B-Section police station, Mohammed Khan Brohi, Ali Hassan Brohi, Murad Ali Brohi, Ghulam Murtaza, Dr. Noor Nabi Brohi, Umer Bhangwar, Kirar Bhangwar and Hashim Bhangwar came to the Utility Store in police mobiles.

Ali Hassan Brohi asked ASI Mumtaz Brohi to open fire on Wali Mohammed and he fired on Wali Mohammed with official Kalashnikov and killed him on the spot, he alleged.

No arrests were made till the filing of this report.
