TANK, June 23: Nine people were killed when Baitullah’s men clashed with tribesmen in F.R. Jandola on Monday.

Sources said the Baitullah’s men had taken complete control of Jandola bazaar, adjacent to South Waziristan, after heavy clashes with Bhittani tribesmen. Baitullah’s supporters also attacked the Kari Wam village near Tank. Before launching the assault they asked women and children to leave their houses.—Correspondent
