KARACHI, May 1: The chairman of the Pakistan Amn Council, Maulana Irshadul Haq Thanvi, on Wednesday, said that the people have reposed full confidence in President General Musharraf,” he said in a statement here on Wednesday.

He hailed President Musharraf’s assurances that the country will remain an Islamic state and all the articles of the 1973 Constitution will remain enforced.—APP
