Tremors jolt Khuzdar

QUETTA, May 3: Khuzdar and its adjoining areas were jolted by earthquakes of mild intensity four times on Saturday.The first jolt was felt at about 12:20pm and the second one at 1:45pm.

By the evening, the area was hit by two more tremors.

The Met Office said the tremors measured 4.4 on the Richter scale. No loss of life or property was reported. However, there were reports of cracks in some buildings and mud houses.

The earthquake caused panic and forced people to rush to open spaces.
