PESHAWAR, May 2: The Pakistan Haj Organisers Association demanded of the government to announce a new Haj policy and start issuance of forms to intending pilgrims here on Friday.

Addressing a news conference, chairman of the association, Mohammad Kamran Zeb, urged the government to keep a vigil on fake private tour operations to save people from being looted in the name of pilgrimage.

He said that expansion work at the holy mosque was going on due to which several buildings had been razed so timely arrangements of residential facilities for intending pilgrims was necessary.— Bureau Report
