Man held with suicide jackets

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, April 29: Two jackets used in suicide bombings were seized from a man arrested here on Tuesday.

Dera Ismail Khan District Police Officer Abdul Ghaffar Qaisarani told journalists that Adnash Gul of Abbottabad was arrested during routine check at the Chonda checkpoint.

He said that the man had told police that a person had given him the jackets and asked him to take them to the Bannu Chungi area where a man would receive them from him. The DPO said police were trying to unearth the network.

He said the two jackets weighed 15kgs.
