PESHAWAR, April 26: NWFP Deputy Speaker Khushdil Khan advocate on Saturday condemned the bomb blast at a police station in Mardan and termed it an attempt to sabotage the peace efforts of the coalition government.

Speaking at a public meeting at Adezai here, the deputy speaker said the innocent Pakhtuns were being killed without any reason, saying that they would not let the handful of anti-state and anti-social elements materialise their evil designs, a statement issued here said. Khushdil Khan said that Pakhtuns would remain united and unveil the hidden hands involved in the cowardly acts of terrorism.

Responding to some demands raised by the local leaders, he announced that a girls’ primary school would be included in the next annual developmental programme for the locality.

He also asked the people, particularly the doctors and teachers, to serve the people with professional zeal and minimise their problems.
