HARIPUR: Mudslide buries 2 women

HARIPUR, April 26: Two women, stated to be sisters, were killed when a heavy mass of mud fell on them in village Pakshahi, Khanpur, some 65 kilometres from here on Saturday.

Khanpur police said that the two women were busy digging the mud for domestic use at a foothill near the village, when a huge mass of earth fell on them, burying both of them alive.

The bodies were recovered by the villagers after a long effort and were later handed over to their family.

The deceased were identified as Abida Bibi wife of Gulzar Shah and Saeeda Bibi wife of Iqbal Shah.— Correspondent
