KARACHI, April 14: The Muhajir Quami Movement-Haqiqi has decided to issue a ‘white paper’ on atrocities meted out to its workers by the police in Sindh, especially in Karachi, during the last five years on the directives of the previous regime to expose the links of police with terrorist outfits.

This was decided in a meeting of the MQM’s central committee, according to a statement issued here on Monday. The committee accused certain police officials of implicating MQM-H activists in fake cases and subjecting them to torture in private cells during the last five years. It was stated that the white paper carried the names of SP, DSP, inspector and sub-inspectors, who committed brutalities against MQM-H activists.—PPI
