KARACHI: Award for Dawn staffer

KARACHI, April 8: Former speaker of the Sindh Assembly has conferred an award on Dawn’s senior reporter Habib Khan Ghori in recognition of his “service for the promotion of good tradition of the assembly.”

The former speaker presented the shield to Mr Ghori on April 7 in the speaker’s chamber for ‘best English reporting.’

Awards were also conferred upon MQM MPA Syed Sardar Ahmed, the NPP’s MPA Arif Ali Khan Jatoi, Mr Asraruddin Alvi, chief protocol officer of the Sindh Assembly, and Mr Hadi Bux Buriro, secretary of the provincial assembly, who is also the longest-serving secretary, by Mr Shah.
