3 girls commit suicide

NAWABSHAH, April 7: Two sisters and another teenage girl committed suicide by taking pesticides in the village of Daim Khan Magsi in Sanghar on Monday, reportedly because of some domestic problems.

They were identified as Laila 18, her sister Safooran 15, daughters of Sathi Magsi, and their niece Tasleema, 19, daughter of Rasheed Magsi.

Tasleema died in the house and the other girls at the Nawabshah Medical College Hospital where they expired.

The girls had a dispute with the family because they had refused to harvest wheat.

However, police sources said the girls had committed suicide because of poverty.
