PR seeks LCCI help

LAHORE, April 7: Federal Railways Minister Mehtab Khan Abbasi says the PR administration has been directed to bring down the losses to zero within nine months.

Talking to Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Muhammad Ali Mian by telephone on Monday, the minister said he wanted to evolve a strategy to turn the railways into a profitable organisation with the cooperation of the LCCI. He said he would visit the chamber in the first week of May to discuss ways and means for making the railways a profitable organisation.
