KARACHI: Two men electrocuted

KARACHI, April 22: Two young labourers were electrocuted in Korangi Industrial Area on late Sunday night.

The police said that labourers Mohammed Husain and Mohammed Siddique were boring for a water well in a house in Bilal Colony, Korangi Industrial Area, when they were electrocuted.

They died on the spot. The bodies were sent to the JPMC for post-mortem.

SUICIDE: A young man who had tried to commit suicide by self- immolation in his home in Sharifabad on April 18 died in a hospital on Monday.

The police said that Anwar Husain, aged 35, set himself on fire by dousing himself with kerosene. He suffered serious burns and was admitted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he died.
