KARACHI, April 21: Federal Minister for Information and Media Development Nisar Memon has assured the office-bearers of Karachi Press Club that he will help resolve the issues of the KPC members.

During a visit to the KPC on Sunday, he also handed over a cheque for Rs500,000 to KPC president Sabihuddin Ghausi.

Regarding the lease of the KPC, he said he had referred the matter to the relevant body.

About the residential plots for the KPC members in the Hawkesbay Scheme, he said the matter had been referred to the provincial government. He said Federal Information Secretary Syed Anwar Mahmood was personally following the matter.

About the Wage Board Award, he said, it was a legal thing and should be implemented.—APP
