Published March 31, 2008

KARACHI, March 30: Spea-kers at the concluding ceremony of the Pakistan Resolution Festival Week, organised by the PIA Boy Scouts, highlighted the significance of the Pakistan Resolution and urged scouts to follow the ideology of Pakistan, which was achieved after great sacrifices. The festival was held in connection with the Pakistan Day celebrations.

Provincial Commissioner of the PIA Scouts Hanif Pathan recalled the sacrifices offered by the Muslims of the subcontinent to achieve the separate homeland after a long struggle under the leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, and said that the freedom movement was based on the Pakistan Resolution passed on March 23, 1940.

Later, awards were distributed among distinguished scouts.—PPI
