KARACHI: 9 cars, 19 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, April 20: Twenty-eight vehicles — nine cars and 19 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Saturday, police sources said.

Five cars were hijacked. Four others were stolen.

Nine motorcycles were hijacked. Ten others were stolen.

ROAD ACCIDENT: A minibus hit and killed a man in Gulshan-i- Iqbal on Saturday.

The police said that a recklessly-driven minibus (JA-1821) hit a motorcyclist, identified as Ashfaq, aged 50, who died on the spot.

The police took the bus driver, Zafar, into custody and impounded the vehicle.
