KARACHI, Oct 23: Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited will complete the distribution of directories in about two months’ time.

This was stated by the Director General Operations (South), Irfan Ali Khan, on Tuesday.

He said that PTCL has published about 750,000 telephone directories for its 800,000 plussubscribers.

He said that about 100,000 directories have already reached the city’s telephone exchanges.

He hoped that the distribution work of directories would be completed in two months’ time.

It was stated that the directories carry the data of up to June this year.

The names and phone numbers of Nazims, which were made available by the middle of last month, have also been incorporated.

DONATION: PTCL has donated Rs50,000 to the Karachi Press Club.

A cheque of the amount was handed over by Mr Irfan to KPC Secretary, Najeeb Ahmed and Vice-President Rashid Ali Khan, on Tuesday.—APP
