MARDAN, March 5: Unidentified miscreants opened firing at a police patrolling party on the jurisdiction of Jabbar Police Station, however no loss of human life was reported.
It was learnt that the police party was on a routine patrol in the area when unidentified miscreants opened firing at them in Shakar Tangi area.
Police also retaliated but the miscreants made their escape good taking advantage of the darkness. The area is quite notorious for targeting police personnel.
