HPS win volleyball ties

KARACHI, Feb 28: Hosts Habib Public School dominated the opening day of the Inter-school volleyball tournament when their both teams conjured up convincing wins against opponents at the school’s gymnasium the other day.

The HPS ‘Greens’ handed a straight 2-0 defeat to Nasra Public School main campus with the scores being 25-15, 25-17.

In the next, HPS ‘Reds’ got the better of Arts and Science Academy by the identical margin. They were home 25-12, 25-7.

In the third fixture HPS ‘Reds’ could not maintain the pace and went down to Hamdard Public School 23-25, 25-11.

Friday’s fixtures: Hamdard Public School v Arts and Science Academy 11.00am; HPS ‘Reds’ v SKBZ Public School 12.00noon.
