DADU, Feb 25: A large number of school students, social workers and other people took out a rally here on Monday to protest against delay in the arrest of killers of a young Pakistan People’s Party worker.

Led by Abdul Sattar Qureshi, the father of deceased Shahjehan Qureshi, the protesters marched on main thoroughfares of the city and staged a demonstration outside press club.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Qureshi alleged that his son was shot dead by District Nazim Karim Ali Jatoi and former MPA Sadaqat Ali Jatoi a few days before the elections but police had cancelled the FIR against them.

He demanded immediate arrest of the accused of killing of his son.

Shajahan was killed in firing on a PPP office by the guards of the district nazim.
