KARACHI, Feb 12: A news item was inadvertently published in this space on Sunday, February 10, 2008 under the heading “Expensive CDGK park in land-grabber’s grip.”

This newspaper deeply regrets its publication and retracts all that has been written in the news item referred to above.

The Bagh-e-Rustom (ST 29, Block 5, Scheme 5, Clifton) and Bagh-e-Mucca (ST 30/30A, Block 5, Scheme 5, Clifton) are being nurtured by the Cowasjee Foundation, a family funded trust, for the unfettered benefit and use of the people of Karachi.

We wish the Foundation further civic success and hope others will emulate its example.— Editor
