NAWABSHAH, Feb 10: Two candidates for PS-24 announced on Sunday that they were pulling out of the race in favour of Pakistan People’s Party candidate.

Mohammed Siddique Butt, Sindh United Party candidate and Ghulam Sajjad Gopang, an independent, made the announcement after meeting PPP candidate Tariq Masood Arain. Sunni Tehrik also announced support for PPP candidate Tariq Masood Arain.

KILLED: A man was killed and two others suffered serious injuries when some armed people opened fire on them in Bachalpur village of Daulatpur taluka on Sunday.

The attackers escaped after killing Ghulam Hyder Mallah and injuring Ali Hassan and Mohammed Yousuf.
