KARACHI, Jan 22: Four ships carrying containers, steel wires and to load cement are due on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five vessels, Sinar Bintan, Orient Stride, Bunga Terasek to unload and load containers, Baltic Mariner, Splandour, oil tankers were berthed after the departure of two.

The ships, which departed included Noor-e-Madina and Glory Tellus, while Jitra Bhum, Splendour and Hansa Century are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was, however, maintained on the higher side where a total volume of 0.122m tons comprising 43,555 tons of export cargo and 78,062 tons of imports was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday; Hansa Century, Soon Fu, with container, Pacific Arrow, to load cement and Free Destiny, with steel wires.
