Eight die in Sialkot accident

SIALKOT, April 6: Eight people were killed, including five of a family, and 20 others injured in an accident on the Sialkot-Daska-Gujranwala Road on Saturday morning.

A Daska-bound bus (LR-3611) coming from Lahore smashed into a truck (SAE-585) near Daska STN relay station.

Those killed were identified as Shakeela, her daughter Sonia alias Guddi (3), infant son Ali Hyder, Pervaiz Ahmad, Naziran of Muridke, Hafiz Mohammed Arshad Mughal of Daska, bus conductor Abid Malangi and Zulfiqar Ali.

Those injured are: Shehzad Siddique, Masood Ahmad, Abdul Kashif, Zulfiqar, Syed Sarfrazul Hassan, Shaikh Mohammed Ehsan, Imtiaz Shah, Khurram, Mohammed Nawaz, Mohammed Amjad, Shahid Hafeez, Mohammed Shafi, Mohammed Shabbir, Mohammed Afzal, Ramzan Muhammad, Mohammed Shafiq, Mohammed Asif, Abdul Ghafoor, Abdul Latif, and Mohammed Ameen.
