KARACHI: Film screening at Goethe

KARACHI, Jan 9: The Goethe-Institut Karachi will resume its weekly Thursday night film screenings from the Jan 10 with Crazy, a coming of age story released in 2000. Directed by Hans-Christian Schmid, the 95-minute German film tracks the journey of Benjamin, a 16-year-old boy who is sent away to boarding school in order to improve his grades.

According to the programme issued by the Goethe-Institut, the schedule of films from January through March 2008 is as follows: Crazy (Jan 10), Bella Martha (Jan 17), Deathmaker (Jan 24), Luther (Feb 7), The Left-Handed Woman (Feb 21), Bye Bye America (Feb 28), Enlightenment Guaranteed (March 6), Trains ‘n’ Roses (March 13), Kebab Connection (March 20) and In July (March 27).

All films will be screened at the institute at 6pm.—Staff Reporter
