LAHORE, Dec 28: The ongoing national men’s basketball championship has also been postponed for three days following the Rawalpindi incident in which former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto lost her life.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the organising committee.
Only a few matches in the championship have so far been decided on Thursday, the opening day of the event.
“The matches would hopefully resume on December 31,” said the championship’s organising secretary.—APP
