NAWABSHAH, Dec 23: PPP Nawabshah has alleged that its rivals were using government resources and machinery to pressurise their voters.

Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah and Ghulam Qadir Chandio, PPP candidates for NA-214 and PS-27 respectively, were addressing public gatherings as part of election campaign in different villages of Sakrand taluka on Sunday.

They said that Nawabshah was the fort of PPP and the party had always struggled for restoration of democracy and would continue the struggle under the dynamic leadership of Benazir Bhutto.

They said that People’s Party provided all facilities to the people of Pakistan including thousands of jobs to unemployed youth without any discrimination during their periods.

They claimed that the PPP- backed Awam Dost district government of Nawabshah carried out record development works in the area including construction of schools, dispensaries and roads.

They alleged that the rivals were using all government machinery and resources to pressure and influence the voters and supporters of PPP but they would face the defeat on January 8.They said that Pakistan Peoples Party would win all the seats with a clear majority like it did in 2002.

PAKHTOONS: The Pakhtoon Welfare Association Nawabshah announced their support to PPP candidates on Sunday.

Naimatullah and Jan Mohammed Khan, Chairman and President of Pakhtoon Welfare Association Nawabshah respectively announced their support to People’s Party on NA-213 and PS-24 after a meeting with the PPP candidate Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho.
