Karachi Yellow win PFF Youth Cup

LAHORE, Dec 20: Karachi Yellow team clinched the PFF U-14 Youth Cup Wednesday night, downing Jacobabad 2-0 in the final at Jinnah Town, Faisalabad near Thana Thikiriwala.

All the four semi-finalists of the 26-team event had also booked their places for next month’s National U-14 Festival of Football 2008 at Sahiwal.

Winners Karachi Yellow received Rs40,000, runners-up Jacobabad Rs30,000 while Red and Green teams of Faisalabad got Rs20,000 and Rs15,000 respectively. Yellow’s keeper Ehsanullah was voted as the best player of the show.—Agencies
