Ten killed, 30 hurt as bus overturns

PINDI BHATTIAN, Dec 9: Ten people were killed and 30 others sustained injuries when a passenger bus overturned near Pindi Bhattian Interchange here on Sunday.

According to police, a speeding Faisalabad-bound passenger bus (Peshawar-E-8460) overturned near Pindi Bhattian Interchange. As a result 10 people, including three members of a family, were killed on the spot while 30 others received injuries.

Those killed were identified as Sonia, Zaib, Rafaqat Ali, Rao Fahim, Raja, son of Abdullah, and bus driver Hafeezullah.

The police shifted the injured to hospital where the condition of four people was stated to be critical. —APP
