Chinese PLA chief meets President

ISLAMABAD, March 30: Lt-Gen Zheng Shenxia, Chief of Staff, Peoples Liberation Army, Air Force China, with the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir, called on President Gen Pervez Musharraf here on Saturday.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Lu Shulin was also pr sent on the occasion. The President welcomed the guests and recalled warm, fraternal and cordial ties between the two countries. He expressed hope that his visit would serve to further enhance the existing bonds between the armed forces of Pakistan and China.—APP
