KARACHI, Nov 27: The Sindh caretaker cabinet swelled on Tuesday as four ministers were administered the oath by the governor, Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, at a ceremony held in the Darbar Hall of the Governor’s House.

With the addition of Ghulam Rasool Unnar, Arbab Naimatullah, Syed Saleem Khan Zaidi and Mansab Jakhrani, the strength of the provincial caretaker cabinet now stands at 19. The portfolios of the new members are to be announced later.

A member of the PML-Q, Ghulam Rasool Unnar was a member of the outgoing provincial cabinet. Arbab Naimatullah, also of the PML-Q, is a nephew of former provincial chief minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim. Reportedly, Syed Saleem Khan Zaidi has links with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by the Sindh caretaker Chief Minister, Justice (retd) Abdul Qadir Halepota, former CM Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Provincial Ombudsman Yusuf Jamal, Karachi Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal and others.
