KOHAT, Nov 23: The FA and FSc supplementary examinations have been postponed in Parachinar because of security reasons, according to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Kohat.

The examinations were to commence from Saturday. The chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Kohat, Sardar Ayub, on Friday said the political authorities had earlier advised the board to postpone the examinations. But the tribal administration had been asking the board to defer the final decision until Thursday evening. However, when it became clear that the situation was not likely to improve soon, the examinations were put off, he said.—Correspondent
